Portraits & People

Welcome to my website. Please visit frequently as I often add to it.

The images on this page are all linked to pages that are themed by subject, type of image or geographically and some of the images lead to sub-pages.

I have been taking photographs since I bought my first camera (a Zenit E) in 1977 and for many years worked almost exclusively with black and white film. In 1988 I graduated with a BA (Hons) in Photographic Studies at Derby and I am a Licentiate member of the Royal Photographic Society.

Since 2007 I have been working digitally but still find that I often "see" in monchrome, hence the high number of balck and white images.

I am the copyright holder for all of these images. All images can be bought as prints; most in any size up to A2, some may go bigger.

Please contact me if you wish to buy a photograph or use any of them in any way; I am friendly!!!

I am currently working on a project at Lewes Railway Land attempting to capture something of the diversity of people who use the Railway Land and it's associated Linklater Pavilion.

The images are being uploaded to a blog as the project develops :

This project is in collaboration with the Lewes Railway Land Wildlife Trust who own and run the Linklater Pavilion and Lewes District Council who own and manage the Railway Land Local Nature Reserve in partnership with the Trust.
